Jean-Julien Baronnet appointed Chief Executive Officer Reinforcement of the Board of Directors

Paris, 24 October 2008 - EuropaCorp, producer and distributor of feature films and one of Europe's leading independent film studios, announces today the appointment of Jean-Julien Baronnet as Chief Executive Officer and further appointments to reinforce its Board of Directors.

Jean-Julien Baronnet, 49 years old, who previously worked in France and the USA as Chief Operating Officer in Industry and Services, notably as Executive Vice President of the Rhodia group and as Deputy CEO of Ose Consulting, has been appointed as EuropaCorp's Chief Executive Officer. Luc Besson remains Chairman of the Board of Directors. At its meeting on 23 October 2008, the Board also decided to convene a General Meeting to propose the appointment of three new board members to shareholders, namely:

• Jean-Julien Baronnet as Chief Executive Officer of the Company;
• Hervé Digne, 51 years old, who is currently Chairman of Postmédia Finance, previously Media Advisor to the French Prime Minister, holding numerous positions of responsibility in press, television and internet, notably as member of Lagardère Média's Executive Commitee;
• Grégoire Chertok, 42 years old, who is Managing Partner of Rothschild & Cie and also a Member of the Board of Directors of Poweo, and member of the French Prime Minister's Economic Analysis Council.
