Bastei Lübbe raises revenue and earnings forecast for financial year 2023/2024
Cologne, 8 January 2024. Bastei Lübbe AG (ISIN DE000A1X3YY0 ) raises its revenue and EBIT forecast for the financial year 2023/2024 after a successful Christmas business despite macroeconomic and geopolitical challenges. Growth drivers are in particular the community-driven business models and audio formats. As a result, the Executive Board now expects Group revenue of between €109 million and €111 million for the 2023/2024 financial year (previous year: €100.0 million) compared to the previously communicated revenue forecast of €100 million to €105 million. The EBIT forecast has been raised again, driven by revenue. EBIT is now expected to be in the range of €12.5 million to €13.5 million (previous year: €7.2 million). In the previous forecast increase for the 2023/2024 financial year, the Executive Board had envisaged EBIT in a range of €10 million to €11 million, compared to the originally communicated EBIT forecast of €9 million to €10 million.
The interim report for the first nine months of the 2023/2024 financial year will be published on 8 February 2024 and will be available online at https://bastei-luebbe.de/en/company/investor-relations/financial-reports from this date.
