SEMPERIT AG HOLDING ERRICHTUNG EINES NEUEN FERTIGUNGSSTANDORTES FÜR UNTERSUCHUNGSHANDSCHUHE

Der Weltmarkt für Untersuchungshandschuhe wächst laufend. Um dem steigenden Bedarf zu entsprechen und die Weichen für weiteres Wachstum zu stellen, hat die Semperit nun den Bau eines neuen Fertigungswerkes für dieses Produktsegment in Surat Thani, Thailand, fixiert.

Mit einem Investitionsvolumen von rund 25 Mio. EUR soll eine hochmoderne Produktionsanlage errichtet werden, in deren Planung die neuesten produktions- und verfahrenstechnischen Erkenntnisse einfließen. Die Kapazität am Ende der ersten Ausbaustufe wird rund 3 Mrd. Stück / Jahr betragen.

Die neue Produktionsstätte wird in das bestehende Joint Venture Siam Sempermed eingegliedert und somit mit dem bewährten Partner Sri Trang Agro Industry betrieben.

SEMPERIT AG HOLDING NEW PRODUCITION FACILITY FOR EXAMINATION GLOVES

The global market for disposable examination gloves is growing continuously. In order to satisfy the increasing demand and to pave the way for further growth, Semperit has finalised plans to build a new production facility for this segment in Surat Thani, Thailand.

The state-of-the-art plant and its equipment will be designed according to the latest know-how in production and manufacturing technology. The total investment will amount to approximately 25 million euros and will permit additional capacity of roughly 3 billion pieces per year at the end of the first stage of expansion.

This new production facility will be integrated into the existing joint venture Siam Sempermed and will be operated in conjunction with proven partner Sri Trang Agro Industry.
