Change of generations in Executive Board now complete

The Supervisory Board of Rosenbauer International AG has appointed Günter Kitzmüller (51) as a new Member of the Executive Board with effect from February 1, 2013. After 30 years at Rosenbauer, the long-serving Executive Board Member Robert Kastil, hitherto responsible for the Finance, Controlling, Investor Relations, Treasury, IT and Risk Management portfolios, is to retire as planned when his Executive Board employment contract expires at the end of September 2013.

In his first few months, Günter Kitzmüller will be mainly in charge of integrating the new Slovenian Group company Rosenbauer d.o.o., and will gradually assume the functions currently exercised by Robert Kastil.

In the person of Günter Kitzmüller, Rosenbauer has won an experienced financial manager. His most recent position was Executive Manager and Chief Financial Officer at the Fischer Sports Group in Ried, Austria, where he was responsible for strategy, administration of holdings, controlling, finance and accounting, purchasing and logistics, IT, HR and legal matters. Previously, Günter Kitzmüller had been with Trench Austria GmbH in Leonding between 1990 and 2008, also as an Executive Manager, with responsibility for the Finance & Accounting and Controlling portfolios.
