Paris, March 16th , 2011 at 17h40 CETParrot, leader in wireless mobile telephony devices, declares that the tragic events in Japan have no direct impact on its business at this point.

Suppliers: no critical issues identified

On hundreds of suppliers worldwide, only 15 are located in Japan, and these do not supply strategic components to the Group. Although one of these suppliers has been directly affected by the recent natural disaster, this supplier has another production facility located outside Japan. Moreover, as with all suppliers, Parrot has an alternative source of supply which can be implemented quickly.

Customers: OEM customers do not have production plants in the affected areas Japan

The majority of the production plants of Parrot OEM customers are located in China and Eastern Europe. While some tensions could be felt on the automotive industry supply chain, for its part Parrot considers it will be able to continue to deliver its products to its clients.

In the medium term visibility remains limited on the overall consequences of the tragic events taking place in Japan. However, faced with expected disruptions on supply chains and components markets, Parrot has solid processes, including components inventory, to enable the Company to effectively withstand crises.
