Nexity has sold the 3rd building in the Viale Edison Center operation (Milan - Italy)

Paris La Défense, Monday July 4, 2011 – Nexity has sold the third and final office building in the Viale Edison Center operation, located in Sesto San Giovanni near Milan, to investor Commerz Real (Commerzbank group), which already owns several business centers in Milan region.

The Viale Edison Center office platform comprises three buildings. The first two of these, with a lettable area of approximately 23,000 sq.m, were delivered in October 2009. They have underground parking spaces, a private terrace and storage areas under the buildings. The third building, with a lettable area of approximately 12,000 sq.m has just been delivered and sold to Commerz Real, which had already acquired the first two buildings for its hausInvest fund, thus marking the complete sale of the operation.

From its location on the former Magneti Marelli industrial site next to land formerly occupied by the Falck metalwork plant, all Viale Edison Center offices are included in an urban renewal zone which will ultimately comprise residential units, offices, public buildings and a university center. On the outskirts of Milan, Viale Edison Center is located right next to the metro and train line (with direct access to central Milan), and the Tangenziale ringroad, providing direct access to Linate and Malpensa airports.
