Jacques Petry appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Michel Bleitrach becomes Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors

During the meeting held on 21 October, the Board of Directors of Séchilienne-Sidec decided to terminate the mandate of its Chairman and CEO, Mr Nordine Hachemi, due to a strategic divergence. This decision will take effect on 29 October 2011.

From that date, the functions of the Chairman and CEO of Séchilienne-Sidec will be assigned to Mr Jacques Petry, who has been appointed as a director to replace Mr Nordine Hachemi.

Jacques Petry has spent over 25 years in the water and environmental sectors. In 1996, he was appointed the Chairman and CEO of Sita, one of the leading European waste-management companies and, in 2001, became the Chairman and CEO of SUEZ Environnement. In 2005, he became CEO of Sodexo Continental Europe and Latin America. Since 2007, he has worked as the managing director of Royal Bank of Scotland then as an independent consultant, and has advised various investors in the environmental and energy sectors. He was the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Idex, a service company linked to the energy sector, until October 2011 and is an independent director of Shanks Plc. Jacques Petry is a former student of the Ecole Polytechnique and a civil engineer.

The Board of Directors would like to thank Mr Nordine Hachemi for the significant work he has carried out during his term of office.

Mr Nordine Hachemi declared: "After these three years with a company with a wealth of human talent and strong technical competences, and which is recognised as a major historic partner in the areas where it is established in the Caribbean and the Indian Ocean, I would like to thank all the company's staff and restate my trust in their Group's development potential."

Mr Jacques Petry declared: "It is with great pride that I am joining Séchilienne-Sidec. I will work tirelessly to develop the company using all the experience accumulated during my career working for major international groups with a strong project-management culture."

The Board of Directors also appointed Mr Michel Bleitrach as the Vice-Chairman of the company's Board of Directors, to consolidate the area of good governance and benefit from his industrial and project-management experience, especially in the development sector.

Finally, following the appointment of Mr. Edgard Misrahi as a representative of Financière Hélios to the Board of Directors of Séchilienne-Sidec, from 21 October 2011, the Board of Directors appointed Mr Maurice Tchénio as a replacement for the personal mandate of Mr. Edgard Misrahi.

The appointments of Mr Petry and Mr Tchénio as directors are subject to ratification by the next Ordinary General Meeting.
