SW Umwelttechnik Stoiser & Wolschner AG: Focus on the core business

Klagenfurt (pta029/02.04.2014/13:55) - The Board of SW Umwelttechnik has made the strategic decision not to pursue the business unit engineering and to focus on the key competences of the Group, production of precast concrete parts for water conservation and infrastructure.

In the decision, the IFRS 5 regulation is applied and only the two continuing business units water conservation and infrastructure will be shown in the result. In 2012, an average of 90 people were employed in the business unit Engineering and a turnover of EUR 12.1 million and EBIT of EUR -0.3 million was reported .

The OMS group with general contractor activity in Hungary and Romania has been sold to Hungarian investors. The sale was concluded on the 2nd April 2014 with the signing of the contract. The purchase price was not disclosed. With this transaction, the scheduled task of the business unit engineering is successfully completed.
