Aéroports de Paris November 2011 traffic figures

Passenger traffic

In November 2011, Aéroports de Paris passenger traffic increased by 2.4% compared to November 2010, with a total of 6.5 million passengers handled including 4.5 million at Paris-Charles de Gaulle (+2.2%) and 2.0 million at Paris-Orly (+2.9%).

  • International traffic (excluding Europe) increased by 1.3%. With the exception of the Middle East, down 8.3% and Africa almost stable at -0.1%, other routes increased: French Overseas Departments and Territories +8.6%; Latin America +6.1%; North America +4.4 %; Asia/Pacific +0.9%.
  • European traffic (excluding France) was up 4.4%, whereas Schengen countries grew by 3.3%. Great Britain and Ireland increased by 5.6%.
  • Traffic within France increased slightly by 0.8%.
  • The number of connecting passengers rose by 10.3%. The connecting passenger rate was up 25.9% against 24.0% in October 2010.

From January to November 2011, passenger traffic increased by 5.4% year-on-year. The number of connecting passengers grew by 7.3%. The connecting rate came in at 23.6% against 23.2% over the first eleven months of 2010.

Aircraft movements

The number of aircraft movements decreased by 0.7% in November 2011 year-on-year (with -1.8% at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and +1.8% at Paris-Orly). Since the start of the year, the number of aircraft movements has risen by 3.6%.
