Transactions in own shares
Serco Group plc (the 'Company') announces the purchase of 791,619 ordinary shares of 2 pence each (the 'Ordinary Shares') through J.P. Morgan Securities plc on 29 January 2021.
The Company intends to hold all of the purchased Ordinary Shares in treasury.
Since the announcement of the share buy-back programme on 31 December 2020 (the 'Programme'), the Company has purchased a total of 11,037,133 Ordinary Shares.
Following the transactions referred to in this announcement, the Company holds 11,037,133 Ordinary Shares in treasury and has 1,222,343,504 Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding treasury shares). The total number of Ordinary Shares with voting rights will be 1,222,343,504 which may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
