Direct Line Group provides CFO update

Direct Line Insurance Group plc announces that Tim Harris, Chief Financial Officer ('CFO'), will be taking a leave of absence with immediate effect whilst a family member undergoes medical treatment.  Tim remains on the Board and is expected to return to his position later in the year.  During this interim period, Neil Manser will be the Acting CFO.  Neil is currently Chief Strategy Officer and a member of the Group's Executive Committee; he has formerly held the roles within the Group of Deputy CFO, Managing Director of NIG and Director of Corporate Strategy and Investor Relations.  Neil also deputised as Interim CFO pending Tim's arrival as CFO, between May and October 2019.  The Acting CFO role will not be an appointment to the Board of Directors. During this interim period, Neil will be attending Board meetings in his capacity as Acting CFO.
