Resignation of Auditor

The Company announces that its auditor, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP ("PwC"), has resigned from its office as statutory auditor with effect from 18 December 2020. This follows the Company recently undertaking a competitive audit tender process, following which PwC were unsuccessful in retaining the audit.

PwC have confirmed that there are no circumstances in connection to their ceasing to hold office that need to be brought to the attention of the members or creditors of the Company. A copy of PwC's statement of reasons relating to the resignation will be sent to shareholders shortly for information only, as required by Section 520(2) of the Companies Act 2006.

A further announcement on the appointment of the new external auditor will be made by the Company in due course.
