Block Listing Application

The Monks Investment Trust PLC (the "Company") has made a successful application to the UK Listing Authority for a block listing of 10,000,000 ordinary shares of five pence each to be admitted to the premium segment of the Official List of the UK Listing Authority, and to the London Stock Exchange for the Shares to be admitted to trading on its main market for listed securities.

Shares will be issued under the block listing to satisfy continuing demand that cannot be met through the secondary market, and the proceeds of share issuance under the block listing will be used for investment in accordance with the Company's investment policy.

The block listing will become effective at 8.00 a.m. on Thursday 17 December 2020.
