Response to press speculation

Quilter notes recent press speculation in respect of Quilter International. Quilter International is part of Quilter plc, a leading wealth management business in the UK and internationally, with the Group overseeing £109.5 billion of investments on behalf of approximately 900,000 clients (as of 30 September 2020).

In the context of Quilter's long-term strategy and ambition, the Board has initiated a strategic review of Quilter International to evaluate its role in delivering Quilter's future growth ambitions. The review is at an early stage and as such the outcome is not yet known. Options range from a decision to retain Quilter International through to a disposal of the business. The Board of Quilter has not yet decided on any particular option and as such there can be no certainty that any potential transaction will be concluded. 

Quilter will update the market as and when appropriate.
