Netgem Appoints Romain Waller as Vice President, Connected Home Products

Dedicated connected home product division to focus onto innovative solutions and product range expansion

Neuilly-sur-Seine, October 1 st, 2012 - Netgem (www.netgem.com) today announces Romain Waller's appointment as the head of Netgem's newly created Connected Home product division. He will report to Christophe Aulnette, Chief Executive Officer.

A graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole des Mines de Paris, Romain joins Netgem after 14 years of experience within the telecommunications industry. During his career, he has managed several business units with full P&L responsibility within the Sagem Group and more recently the Technicolor group (formerly known as Thomson). In his previous roles, his core missions have included business development with global media and telecommunications operators to cover Set-Top Boxes, modems, gateways, as well as IPTV service platforms and other connected technologies.

Christophe Aulnette, CEO of Netgem, said: "For the past three years Netgem has been very focused on international expansion and has diversified its customer-base worldwide with today, 18 operators across 14 countries, from Australia to Mexico! Over recent months Netgem has announced a number of new customers including Viaplay in Sweden, YouSee in Denmark, Netia in Poland, Globecast in the United States (a subsidiary of France Télécom Orange) and TotalPlay in Mexico. The Group is also introducing a new product range with the launch of a new compact platform, its mainstream N7700 Netbox, and of a mobile connectivity device, Wobe.
