Plastic Omnium has been awarded a contract to supply household waste containers to the City of Budapest in Hungary.
The contract, which calls for the installation of 400,000 containers throughout 2013, will generate approximately €7.5 million in revenue.
The transaction continues the series of contracts successfully signed in international markets, in particular the one awarded in Malaysia in early 2012 for 300,000 containers. At the same time, it strengthens Plastic Omnium's position as the world leader in household waste containers and related services for municipal authorities.
