Aéroports de Paris November 2012 traffic figures

In November 2012, Aéroports de Paris passenger traffic increased by 1.3% compared to November 2011 reaching a record level of 6.6 million passengers including 4.6 million handled at Paris-Charles de Gaulle (+1.1%) and 2.0 million at Paris-Orly (+1.9%).

  • International traffic (excluding Europe) was up by 1.1%. Only Asia-Pacific recorded strong growth (+8.1%). Africa (+1.9%) and the Middle East (+0.4%) experienced a more moderate increase. Latin America (-0.2%) and the French Overseas Territories (-0.5%) recorded a slight decrease while North America was down sharply by 3.9%.
  • European traffic (excluding France) was up by 1.9%.
  • Traffic within France increased slightly by 0.5%.
  • The number of connecting passengers was down by 0.8%. The connecting rate stood at 25.7%, down by 0.3 point.

Since the beginning of 2012, Aéroports de Paris passenger traffic increased by 1.1% with a total of 82.1 million passengers handled. The number of connecting passengers was up 2.5%, resulting in a connecting rate of 23.9%, i.e. an increase of 0.3 point. Traffic from TAV Airports, owned at 38% by Aéroports de Paris, increased by 36.1% over the same period.
