Proposed Change of Name

The Board of Merian Chrysalis Investment Company Limited announces that a circular (the "Circular") will be posted today in connection with a proposed change to its registered name to Chrysalis Investments Limited following the recent acquisition of Merian Global Investors Limited by Jupiter Fund Management plc. The proposed change of name, in order to take effect, requires shareholders to pass a special resolution at an extraordinary general meeting of the Company.

The Circular includes a notice convening an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders to be held at 3rd Floor, 1 Le Truchot, St Peter Port, Guernsey, GY1 1WD at 11:45 a.m. on 18 December 2020. Copies of the Circular, together with a Form of Proxy, will be mailed today to those shareholders having elected to receive paper copies.

A copy of the circular will shortly be available for download on the Company's website at https://www.merian.com/chrysalis/. A copy of the Circular, together with a Form of Proxy, has been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at https://data.fca.org.uk/#/nsm/nationalstoragemechanism.
