PRESS RELEASE

Paris La Défense, February 11, 2013

Sale of wind-power business to enable a greater focus on group's biomass energy strategy

Séchilienne Sidec is to sell its wind-power business to EDF Energies Nouvelles for €59 million and an additional amount for wind-power projects currently underway.

Séchilienne Sidec's six wind farms located in France, which generated 106 GWh of power in 2012, have a combined installed capacity of 56.5 MW. They represent approximately 2% of group revenues, 2% of consolidated net income and 5% of EBITDA. There are a further five wind-power projects under development.

This transaction is part of the group's strategy to focus on exploiting biomass as an energy source. The sale will afford Séchilienne Sidec additional resources to develop projects in the fields of thermal biomass, biomethanization and solar energy, both in France and in some specially chosen foreign countries.

According to Jacques Petry, CEO Séchilienne Sidec, "This transaction is an important step in the implementation of our strategy to focus on biomass energies. The wind power facilities we are selling are high-quality assets that have been developed and operated efficiently by our teams. "

Next scheduled communication: annual results and strategic review on March 19' 2013
