Aéroports de Paris March 2013 traffic figures

In March 2013, Aéroports de Paris passenger traffic increased by 2.2% compared to March 2012 with a total of 7.3 million passengers including 5.0 million at Paris-Charles de Gaulle (+1.9%) and 2.3 million at Paris-Orly (+2.7%).

• International traffic (excluding Europe) increased by 5.9% with strong growth in Africa (+11.7%) and in the Middle East (+11.1%). The French Overseas Territories (+8.0%) and Asia-Pacific (+5.9%) are also growing. Only two destinations were down: Latin America (-0.8%) and North America (-1.9%).
• European traffic (excluding France) was up by 1.5%.
• Traffic within France decreased by 4.1%.
• The number of connecting passengers was down by 3.3%. The connecting rate stood at 24.3%, down by 1.8 point.

Since the beginning of 2013, Aéroports de Paris passenger traffic has decreased by 0.8% with a total of 19.4 million passengers. The number of connecting passengers was down by 2.1%. The connecting rate reached 26.1%, i.e. a decrease of 0.3 point.

Traffic from TAV Airports, owned at 38% by Aéroports de Paris, increased 28.3% in March 2013 and by 27.7% since the beginning of the year.
