As part of the group's strategy to focus on exploiting biomass as an energy source, Sechilienne Sidec's Board of Directors has decided to propose to the General Meeting of shareholders of 30 May 2013, to change the company's name to "Albioma".
The new identity and the new baseline will be disclosed to the shareholders at the General Meeting of shareholders.
Séchilienne-Sidec is an independent energy producer, with 20 years of experience in generating electricity from biomass resources. The group specializes in operating medium-sized power plants in complex environments where close cooperation with the industries supplying the biomass is essential. Séchilienne-Sidec is also a leading producer of photovoltaic power-generated electricity.
