Aéroports de Paris May 2013 traffic figures

In May 2013, Aéroports de Paris passenger traffic increased by 4.7% compared to May 2012 with a total of 8.0 million passengers including 5.4 million at Paris-Charles de Gaulle (+2.5%) and 2.6 million at Paris-Orly (+9.7%).

As a reminder, in 2013, spring holidays for Paris area were from Saturday 27 April to Monday 13 May instead of Saturday 14 April to Monday 30 April in 2012.

• International traffic (excluding Europe) increased by 8.0%. All destinations are growing: the French Overseas Territories (+16.1%), the Middle East (+11.5%), Africa (+11.1%), Latin America (+7.9%), Asia-Pacific (+4.7%) and North America (+2.9%).
• European traffic (excluding France) increased by 3.4%.
• Traffic within France was up by 1.6%.
• The number of connecting passengers rose by 1.2%. The connecting rate stood at 21.9%, down by 0.7 point.

Since the beginning of 2013, Aéroports de Paris passenger traffic slightly increased by 0.3% with a total of 34.9 million passengers. The number of connecting passengers was up by 0.2%. The connecting rate remained stable at 24.4%.

Traffic of TAV Airports, owned at 38% by Aéroports de Paris, increased by 25.9% in May 2013 and by 25.4% since the beginning of the year.
