Augustin de Romanet presented to works council of Aéroports de Paris the Group strategic orientations as well as the resulting initiatives related to high priority positions and employment

Augustin de Romanet, Chairman and CEO of the Aéroports de Paris Group, presented the Group strategic orientations to the works council on 18 July 2013, in accordance with the French code law n°2013-504 dated 14 June 2013 relative to employmen t protection.

Six strategic principles were presented to the works council in order to strengthen the attractiveness of Aéroports de Paris to airlines and passengers: the improvement in the quality of customers service as well as employee satisfaction, the strengthening of the operational robustness of airports, the optimization of economic performance, the objective of becoming a European reference in Environmental and Corporate Social Responsability (ECSR) and the ambition to seize opportunities of international development.

The implementation of this strategy would lead the setting up of a multiannual recruitment plan in passengers handling positions (120 employees) and in technical and maintenance trades (60 employees) along with a project of voluntary departure plan.

The latter, for which it is proposed to trade unions to open a negotiation, would be about, at the maximum, 370 positions of the parent company Aéroports de Paris. It would take place on the basis of volunteerism only by, basically, end-of-career leaves and by the support of personal projects (setting up of new businesses, retraining to other activities, …). Considered for the 2014 spring period, its implementation would provide a boost to the recruiting policy of Aéroports de Paris on positions essential to its customers, as mentioned above, as well as reaching the target modified in December 2012 about the change of headcounts of the parent company over the Economic Regulation Agreement 2011-2015 period signed with the French State.

This overall and balanced policy plans recruitments in passengers handling and maintenance positions to keep improving the quality of service rendered to passengers and allows to control the overall change in headcounts in order to strengthen performance and competitiveness of Aéroports de Paris at the service of air transport", Augustin de Romanet, Chairman and CEO of Aéroports de Paris said.
