ID Logistics finalises the acquisition of CEPL

Cavaillon, 22 July 2013 – Following the preliminary agreement signed on 13 June 2013, ID Logistics is today announcing that it has finalised the acquisition of CEPL. This deal will make ID Logistics the French leader in highly-automated solutions for retail order fulfilment.

The Group is adding some prestigious brands and high-potential business segments to its customer portfolio, such as electronics, fragrances, textiles and e-commerce. ID Logistics is also strengthening its European coverage, extending its footprint to Germany and the Netherlands and consolidating its longstanding positions in Spain.

With this acquisition, ID Logistics is bolstering its unique positioning as a contract logistics specialist, providing an extensive range of services adaptable to all customer segments, including traditional retail, industrial and consumer goods markets, as well as specialised industries and e-commerce.

The combined entity will leverage on 168 facilities in 14 countries, representing 3.1 million square meters in operation, with a workforce of 12,300 employees. The Group is expected to record pro forma revenues in 2013 above €800 million.
