NOTICE OF EARLY REDEMPTION

SANTANDER UK PLC

(the "Issuer")

GBP 175,000,000 Twenty Year Step Up Perpetual Callable Subordinated Notes 

ISIN: XS0117973262

(the "Notes")

NOTICE HAS BEEN GIVEN to the Noteholders that the Issuer will redeem all outstanding Notes at their principal amount, together with accrued interest to, but excluding, 28 September 2020 (the "Redemption Date") pursuant to condition 5(b) (Optional Redemption) of the terms and conditions of the Notes contained in the offering circular dated 26 September 2000 (the "Conditions"), having obtained the consent of the Financial Services Authority for such redemption. The Issuer will also request the cancellation of the listing of the Notes on the London Stock Exchange with effect on and from the Redemption Date.

Capitalised terms used in this notice shall have the same meanings as those ascribed to them in the Conditions.
