PURCHASE OF OWN SHARES

Schroder UK Mid Cap Fund plc (the "Company") announces that on 6 August 2020 it purchased 25,000 of its ordinary shares at a price of 436 pence per share, to be held in treasury.

Following this purchase, the Company's issued share capital consists of 36,143,690 ordinary shares of 25p each, including 832,500 ordinary shares held in treasury. Accordingly, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 35,311,190.

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
