Claim for repayment of liabilities: rejection of appeal by the liquidators of Metaleurop Nord

Suresnes, 19 November 2013: Recylex SA (NYSE Euronext Paris: FR0000120388 - RX) notes today's decision from the Cour de Cassation rejecting the appeal lodged by the liquidators of Metaleurop Nord against the Douai Appeal Court's ruling of 19 September 2012 confirming the rejection of the claim for repayment of liabilities by subsidiary Metaleurop Nord SAS in the amount of €50 million, considering that Recylex SA was not de facto director of Metaleurop Nord SAS*.

This decision now marks the definitive close of this legal dispute, initiated in 2006 by the liquidators of Metaleurop Nord, and thereby lifts a major uncertainty that has been hanging over the Group.

Listing of the Recylex shares will be resumed on Wednesday 20 November 2013 on the opening of NYSE-Euronext Paris.
