ALTEN ENTERS INTO AN AGREEMENT FOR THE ACQUISITION OF GECI'S ENGINEERING BUSINESS

Alten and Geci International have entered into an agreement for the purchase by Alten of Geci Engineering business made of several companies in France, Germany, Spain and Romania.

This deal, which is subject to the satisfaction of several conditions, should allow Alten to take control of the Geci Engineering companies before year end.

Geci Engineering is specialized in the business of structures calculation, system integration (mechanical and electrical) and manufacturing engineering.

Geci Engineering is referenced by the main European customers in Aircraft, Space, Naval and Rail ways transportation.

This acquisition will enable Alten to complement its offering and to strengthen its area of competence and expertise for strategic customers within Europe.

Geci Engineering business employs 650 people and should generate a yearly turnover of €48 million at the end of March 2014.

Alten will inform the market of the progress of the deal in the coming weeks.
