Aéroports de Paris New record year in Paris with 90.3 million passengers handled in 2013

2013 Traffic

For the first time, Aéroports de Paris handled more than 90 million passengers with a total of 90.3 million passengers in 2013, up 1.7% compared to the previous year (88.8 million passengers in 2012). Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport welcomed 62.0 million passengers (+0.7%) and Paris Orly airport 28.3 million passengers (+3.8%). Traffic increased by 0.5% during the 1st half of the year and by 2.7% during the 2nd half.

• Traffic mix was positive with international traffic (excluding Europe) up by 3.6% driven by all destinations growth: the French Overseas Territories (+8.3%); the Middle-East (+4.6%); Asia/Pacific (+4.4%); Africa (+2.7%); North America (+2.3%) and Latin America (+1.9%).
• European traffic (excluding France) slightly rose by 0.6% and traffic within France by 0.1%.
• The number of connecting passengers increased by 1.9%. The connecting rate remains unchanged at 24.1%.

Passenger traffic at TAV Airports, 38%-owned by Aéroports de Paris, increased by 16.7%(1) .

Traffic for December

In December 2013, Aéroports de Paris saw a record for December with 7.0 million passengers handled, an increase of 4.8% on December 2012. 4.8 million passengers travelled through Paris-Charles de Gaulle (+3.5%) and 2.2 million through Paris-Orly (+7.6%).

• International traffic (excluding Europe) increased slightly by 6.6%. All destinations were up: the French Overseas Territories (+11.1%); North America (+9.2%); Latin America (+7.2%); the Middle East (+7.1%); Asia-Pacific (+4.6%) and Africa (+3.8%).
• European traffic (excluding France) was up by 3.3% and traffic within France grew by 3.8%.
• The number of connecting passengers increased by 4.9%. The connecting rate remains unchanged at 25.9%.

Passenger traffic at TAV Airports, 38%-owned by Aéroports de Paris, increased by 15.6%.
