Aéroports de Paris January 2014 traffic figures

In January 2014, Aéroports de Paris saw 6.6 million passengers; an increase of 5.6% on January 2013. 4.6 million passengers travelled through Paris-Charles de Gaulle (+5.3%) and 2.0 million through Paris-Orly (+6.2%).

It should be noted that passenger traffic in January 2013 was affected by heavy snowfall over France and Northern Europe between 18 and 20 January.

• International traffic (excluding Europe) increased by 6.2%. All destinations were up: the Middle East (+11.1%); North America (+6.5%); the French Overseas Territories (+6.2%); Africa (+5.2%); Latin America (+5.2%) and Asia-Pacific (+5.0%).
• European traffic (excluding France) was up by 6.2%.
• Traffic within France grew by 2.9%.
• The number of connecting passengers increased by 5.2%. The connecting rate stood at 27.6%, down by 0.1 points.

Passenger traffic at TAV Airports, 38%-owned by Aéroports de Paris, increased by 21.8% in January 2014.
