ECOFIN GLOBAL UTILITIES AND INFRASTRUCTURE TRUST PLC (the "Company")

Announcement of Results of Annual General Meeting ("AGM")

The Company confirms that at today's AGM all resolutions set out in the Notice of the Meeting were duly passed on a show of hands with the exception of Resolution 13 which was withdrawn.

A copy of all resolutions passed as special resolutions at the AGM has been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at http://www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/nsm.

Details of the number of proxy votes cast for, against and withheld on each resolution, as well as a copy of the Investment Manager's presentation given at the Meeting, will shortly be available on the Investment Manager's website at http://tortoiseadvisors.co.uk/.
