ETXRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS

ATHENS, Greece - February 20, 2020 - Hellenic Telecommunications Organization S.A. (ASE: HTO, OTC MARKET: HLTOY), the Greek full-service telecommunications provider (hereinafter "OTE" or "OTE S.A."), held today an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders, during which Shareholders  representing 80.34% of its paid up share capital were present and represented (minus OTE own shares).

During the Meeting the shareholders discussed the items of the agenda, which were approved by majority. In particular the EGM:

1.  Approved, in accordance with article 49 of Law 4548/2018, an Own Share Buyback Program, in order for these shares to be canceled, up to 10% of the Company's paid-up share capital, for a period of 24 months as of today, at a price range between €1 (minimum purchase price) and €30 (maximum purchase price) per share.

2.  Approved, pursuant to article 49 of Law 4548/2018, the cancellation of the total of 9,764,743 own shares purchased by the Company under a share buy-back program in order to cancel them, with a corresponding reduction of its share capital by €27,634,222.69, and the subsequent amendment of article 5 (Share Capital) of the Company's Articles of Incorporation.
