Notification of transactions by Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities

("PDMRs")

The Company announces the following transactions by PDMRs in the Company's ordinary 5p shares ("Shares"):

Pursuant to invitations issued on 21 November 2019 to all eligible UK employees, options over an aggregate of 2,625,225 Shares were granted on 18 December 2019 under the Company's UK SAYE Scheme (the "Scheme"). The Scheme is an all-employee scheme which gives the opportunity to employees to acquire Shares at a discount of 20% of the market value of the Shares at the time the invitation was issued.

Options were granted to PDMRs, as follows:

In consideration of these options, the grantees will make monthly savings during the associated three year savings contract. The exercise price is 48.0 pence per Share.

These options will normally be exercisable during a six month period commencing 1 February 2023.

The following additional information is relevant to this announcement for the purposes of the FCA disclosure requirements under the Market Abuse Regime:
