Purchase of Shares by the Employee Benefit Trust

The Company announces that Computershare Trustees (Jersey) Limited acquired 610,000 ordinary shares in Hammerson at an average price of £2.96383 per share on 3 December 2019.

These shares will be settled to Computershare Trustees (Jersey) Limited being the trustees of the Hammerson Employee Share Ownership Plan. The shares will be used to satisfy the exercise and release of options and awards granted to employees under the Company's various employee share plans.
