Aéroports de Paris November 2014 traffic figures

In November 2014, Aéroports de Paris saw 6.8 million passengers; an increase of 2.0% on November 2013. 4.7 million passengers travelled through Paris-Charles de Gaulle (+2.8%) and 2.1 million through Paris-Orly (+0.2%).

  • International traffic (excluding Europe) was down slightly, by 0.2%, with a decrease in the following destinations: the French Overseas Territories (-6.6%) and Africa (-3.4%). By contrast, others destinations continued to show growth: the Middle East (+3.7%), Latin America (+3.0%), Asia-Pacific (+2.0%) and North America (+1.8%);
  • European traffic (excluding France) grew strongly (+5.7%);
  • Traffic within France was down (-1.0%);
  • The number of connecting passengers increased by 2.4%. The connecting rate stood at 25.7%, down by 0.2 points.

Since the beginning of 2014, Aéroports de Paris passenger traffic is up by 2.5%, with a total of 85.4 million passengers. The number of connecting passengers is down by 0.9%. The connecting rate stands at 23.1%, i.e. a decline of 0.8 points.

Passenger traffic at TAV Airports, 38%-owned by Aéroports de Paris, increased by 12.4% in November 2014 and has risen by 13.5%since the beginning of the year(1) .

To be compliant with TAV Airports' presentations, the % change presented above does not take into account Zagreb and Milas Bodrum traffic figures for 2013. Taking into account Zagreb and Milas Bodrum traffic on a like-for-like basis for 2013, total TAV Airports passenger traffic would have risen by 8.7% in November 2014, by 9.5% since the beginning of 2014 and by 9.8% over the last 12 months.

(2) TAV Airports started to operate Milas Bodrum Airport in August 2014. Like for like, traffic rose by 19.6% in November 2014, and has risen by 16.0% since the beginning of 2014 and by 16.3% over the last 12 months.

(3) Aéroports de Paris and TAV started to operate Zagreb Airport in December 2013. Like for like, traffic has risen by 5.4% since the beginning of 2014 and by 5.3% over the last 12 months.
