REPLACEMENT : Transactions in own shares

The following amendments have been made to the 'Transaction in Own Shares' announcement released on 07/11/2019 at 18:29 under RNS No 7176S

The Company wishes to make aware the associated dealing costs of the buyback programme as of 07/11/2019 were £83,184,224.75 and not £78,051,633.19.

All other details remain unchanged.

Inchcape plc (the Company) announces today it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 10 pence from J.P. Morgan Securities plc as part of the buyback programme announced on 23 May 2019.

Highest price paid per share:	633.5000
Average price paid per share:	633.5000

The Company intends to cancel the purchased shares.

Since 24 May 2019 the Company has purchased 13,708,902 shares at a cost (including dealing and associated costs) of £83,184,224.75.
