January 2015 traffic figures

In January 2015, Aéroports de Paris saw 6.7 million passengers; an increase of 2.1% on January 2014. 4.7 million passengers travelled through Paris-Charles de Gaulle (+2.5%) and 2.0 million through Paris-Orly (+1.2%).

  • International traffic (excluding Europe) was up by 0.7%, with growth in the following destinations: Asia-Pacific (+4.5%); the Middle East (+4.1%); Latin America (+2.9%) and North America (+0.6%). Other destinations were down: the French Overseas Territories (-2.8%) and Africa (-2.2%);
  • European traffic (excluding France) grew strongly (+4.3%);
  • Traffic within France was up (+0.6%);
  • The number of connecting passengers increased by 2.5%. The connecting rate stood at 27.6%, stable compared to January 2014.

Passenger traffic at TAV Airports, 38%-owned by Aéroports de Paris, increased by 9.5% (1) in January 2015 and by 12.9%(1) over the last 12 months.
