Paris Orléans will change its name to Rothschild & Co

Paris Orléans' Group announces that it will change the name of the listed holding company from Paris Orléans to Rothschild & Co to further reflect the partnerships philosophy, subject to shareholders approval at the next General Meeting.

Eric de Rothschild, chairman of the Paris Orléans Supervisory Board and David de Rothschild, chairman of PO Gestion, managing partner of Paris Orléans said "it emphasises the presence of long term shareholders, who accompany our family in this venture as well as the partnership culture that prevails within our Group. Changing the listed entity name is the logical and necessary outcome of the Group's transformation."

The commitment that the Rothschild family members in the firm have to its long-term success, and to their role in it, remains unchanged. They continue to be at the core of the global business, with family control assured through the corporate structure established in 2012. The direction of the business and how the individual businesses are run and governed will remain.
