Drillisch again jointly with United Internet largest shareholder of freenet

Maintal, 11 July 2008

Drillisch Aktiengesellschaft has secured a total of 25.91% of the voting
rights in freenet AG as a result of the acquisition of additional voting
shares and the attribution of voting rights under the German Securities
Trading Act.

This additional increase of voting rights is in response to the
registration of the capital increase against contribution in kind of
freenet AG and the resulting dilution of voting shares held indirectly
through MSP Holding GmbH (a joint venture jointly controlled by Drillisch
and United Internet) and the voting shares held directly by Drillisch.

Drillisch is therefore jointly with United Internet again the largest
freenet shareholder.
