Drillisch AG, Maintal, increases its strategic participation in freenet AG,
Büdelsdorf, from 10.08% to 28.56%.

In doing so, Drillisch AG consistently pursues its strategy of
consolidation on the German telecommunications market. The increase of its
participation is subject to anti-trust clearance. The acquisition itself
will be made through a wholly-owned subsidiary of Drillisch AG.

By increasing its participation in freenet AG, Drillisch AG positions
itself for the upcoming consolidation and extends its room for maneuver
with a view to future strategic options.

Drillisch AG has agreed with VATAS Group on a financing of the purchase
price through a non-recourse financing package which is taken up by a
subsidiary of Drillisch AG.

VATAS Group competently assisted in this transaction and will continue
to provide support on the basis of its extensive know-how to Drillisch AG
in implementing its future strategy.
