Der Kaufvertrag wurde am 29. März in Helsinki unterzeichnet. Open Net Oy ist ein junges finnisches Unternehmen, das sich mit der Entwicklung und Implementierung von WAP und WEB Contentplattform-Dienstleistungen beschäftigt. Das gesamte Produktportfolio umfaßt dabei die Bereiche Application Develpoment, Customer Projects, WAP Concepts, Training und Consulting sowie In house news production. Open Net ist ferner auch exklusiver Partner von Nokia im Rahmen des Nokia Artus Developers Program sowie Partner von Hewlett Packard im Rahmen des E-Bazar Forums. Die WAP-Produkte von Open Net werden derzeit schon von finnischen und schwedischen Mobilfunknetzbetreibern angeboten und genutzt. In Finnland ist Open Net Oy Marktführer im Bereich Internet Sportnews mit den Schwerpunkten Formel 1, Rallye, Eishockey und Fußball (www.open-net.fi). Unser Ziel ist der Aufbau einer WEB/WAP Internet-Sportseite in deutscher, englischer und weiteren Sprachen. Zusammen mit Open Net Oy und der im Februar erworbenen Internet-Suchmaschine acoon realisiert Drillisch bereits bis zu 3 Mio. Pageimpressions im Monat. Mit diesem Schritt sollen die Positionierung des Drillisch Konzerns zum Contentplattformanbieter für Mobile Internet Solutions and Services weiter ausgebaut sowie die Aktivitäten im Bereich von WAP-Services weiter vorangetrieben werden. Open Net Oy ist die zweite Akquisition in diesem Bereich und die erste internationale Beteiligung für den Drillisch Konzern. Zuvor wurde der Suchmaschinenanbieter acoon erworben, der die erste WEB und WAP Kombisuchmaschine entwickelt hat und derzeit über den größten Datenbestand für WAP-Adressen verfügt. The purchase contract was signed in Helsinki on March 29. Open Net Oy is a recently founded Finnish company which is involved in the development and implementation of WAP and WEB content platform services. The total product portfolio comprises the areas of application development, customer projects, WAP concepts, training and consulting and in-house news production. Open Net is also an exclusive partner of Nokia in the context of the Nokia Artus developers’ program and a partner of Hewlett Packard in the framework of the e-bazaar forum. The WAP products of Open Net are already being offered and used by Finnish and Swedish mobile telephone network operators. Open Net Oy is the market leader in Finland in the field of Internet sports news, focusing on Formula 1, rallies, ice hockey and soccer (www.open-net.fi). Our aim is to create a WEB/WAP Internet sports page in German, English and other languages. Together with Open Net Oy and acoon, the Internet search machine we acquired in February, Drillisch already realises up to 3 million page impressions a month. This step is aimed to strengthen the position of the Drillisch Group as a content platform provider for mobile Internet solutions and services and to extend the company’s activities in the area of WAP services. Open Net Oy is the second acquisition in this area and the first international investment of the Drillisch Group. The earlier acquisition was the search engine provider acoon, which developed the first combined WEB and WAP search engine and currently has the largest database of WAP addresses.
