Franz Peter Weber will be appointed spokesman of the Management Board
Michael Geiger will be appointed Management Board Member
Elio Schiavo will leave the company at his own request
München / Planegg, September 25, 2014 - Mr. Franz Peter Weber, Chief
Financial Officer, will be appointed new spokesman of the management board
of telegate AG as of October 11, 2014.
The supervisory board will appoint Michael Geiger, presently Vice President
Technology and for many years in this role, as member of the management
board as of October 11, 2014.
Mr. Elio Schiavo, presently CEO of telegate AG, resigns from his position
with the close of October 10, 2014. He leaves at this point in time at his
own request and in best mutual agreement with the company to join Apple.
Mr. Schiavo and telegate AG mutually agreed on the contract termination
during the late evening yesterday. Mr. Schiavo's resignation is subject to
supervisory board approval which is expected to be received by October 10,
2014. Having been in the role of Chief Executive Officer since end of 2011,
he had played a major role in the company's digital business reaching
profitability end of 2013. The supervisory board thanks Elio Schiavo for
his excellent performance in the past three years.
With the appointment as board member of telegate AG, the supervisory board
emphasizes its trust in the competences of Michael Geiger who is highly
valued both internally and externally.
