Announcement on Electricity Generation in 2020
The board of directors and all directors of China Yangtze Power Co., Ltd. (the "Company") warrant that there are no false representations and misleading statements contained in, or material omissions from, this announcement, and severally and jointly accept the responsibility for the truthfulness, accuracy and completeness of the contents of this announcement.
According to the preliminary statistics of the Company, the gross electricity generation of the Company's cascade hydropower projects was approximately 226,930 GWh in 2020, representing a year-on-year increase of 7.82%.
Among them, the Three Gorges Project generated 111,802 GWh of electricity, representing a year-on-year increase of 15.41%; Gezhouba Project generated 18,567 GWh of electricity, representing a year-on-year decrease of 2.71%; Xiluodu Project generated 63,413 GWh of electricity, representing a year-on-year increase of 4.33%; and Xiangjiaba Project generated 33,148 GWh of electricity, representing a year-on-year decrease of 1.70%.
The electricity generation of each of the Company's hydropower projects in 2020 is as follows:
