DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT

We refer to our announcement of the Group's 2019 results on 19th March 2020 including the notice of the Annual General Meeting to be held on 9th June 2020 which indicated that the dividend, subject to shareholders approval, shall be paid on or about 15th July 2020 to the shareholders on the members' register at the close of business on Friday, 19th June 2020.

However, given the uncertainty the COVID 19 pandemic is creating, the Board has no guarantee the Annual General Meeting of the Company will be held on the said date. As a result the Directors, having complied with the Company's dividend policies and procuring all internal approvals, have decided to authorise payment of the recommended first and final dividend for 2019 of Kshs 14.00 per share.

The dividend shall be paid on or about 18th May 2020 to the shareholders on the members' register at the close of business on Thursday, 30th April 2020. This dividend will be ratified at the Annual General Meeting.
