New corporate governance for Cromology

The Cromology group (formerly Materis Paints) now has a new corporate governance structure. Patrick Tanguy, Managing Director at Wendel, has been appointed non-executive Chairman and Gilles Nauche, the current CEO of Zolpan, has been named CEO of Cromology. This change follows on from the departure of Bertrand Dumazy, Cromology's current Chairman and CEO, who will leave the group at the end of October to take over the management of another group.

Wendel congratulates Mr. Dumazy for the excellent work he has accomplished since his arrival in the Wendel Group as CEO of Deutsch in 2011 and then at Materis Paints since 2012. He successfully stabilized the Materis group's paints business then implemented its first recovery phase, before undertaking its transformation into the new company, Cromology. We wish him every success in his important new position.

Wendel is fully confident in the ability of Gilles Nauche, an experienced international manager, to pursue the development of Cromology around its remarkable portfolio of paint brands and to generate further earnings growth.
