Declaration of Dividend

On 4 October 2018, the Board of Electra Private Equity PLC announced its intention to distribute excess cash as an initial special dividend of £140m (£3.65 per share) in December subject to the completion of the Photobox transaction and adoption of a revised investment objective and policy (the "Initial Special Dividend").

The Board announced the completion of the Photobox transaction on 19 October 2018 and announced earlier today that shareholders had approved the adoption of a revised investment objective and policy at the General Meeting held today.

Accordingly, the Board confirms that the Initial Special Dividend of £3.65 per share or £140m will be paid on Friday 14 December 2018 to shareholders registered at the close of business on Friday 16 November 2018.  The ex-dividend date is Thursday 15 November 2018.
