Seeing Machines Limited

US Fleet (Guardian) Contract

5th July 2018

Seeing Machines Limited (AIM: SEE) ("Seeing Machines" or the "Company"), the advanced computer vision technology company that designs AI-powered operator monitoring systems to improve transport safety, has signed a five-year contract with US based John Christner Trucking to install its fleet of 850 trucks with Guardian, the Company's fatigue and distraction prevention technology for commercial fleets.

John Christner Trucking is a family owned business based in Sapulpa, Oklahoma and one of the leading refrigeration carriers across North America. This contract follows several other recent notable North American fleet contracts including Megabus (Coach USA), Royal Foods and Bison Transport Inc, all making a commitment to enhancing the safety of their drivers with Guardian.

Seeing Machines' Guardian uses advanced computer vision technology to detect and minimise driver fatigue and distraction events and associated accidents in commercial fleet applications. The system has demonstrated it can achieve over 90% reduction in fatigue and distraction related driver events based on studies of worldwide deployment experience.

The solution provides real-time, in-cabin alerts when fatigue or distraction is detected by the driver facing sensors, which work in all light conditions including night driving and when the driver is wearing sunglasses.

Guardian is connected to a 24/7 monitoring centre and cloud analytics engine that gives fleet owners a variety of customisable intervention and analytics programs to complement their driver training and wellness initiatives.

Paul Angelatos, GM of Fleet, Rail and Off-Road at Seeing Machines commented:

"We are delighted to be working with John Christner Trucking. Adoption of Guardian, our fatigue and distraction prevention technology, is building momentum worldwide and this agreement further strengthens our position as a leading provider of transport safety technology.

"This family owned and run business truly focuses on driver safety and we are very pleased to be able to contribute to ensuring that their drivers get home to their families at the end of each shift."
