This announcement is made pursuant to Article 19 of the Market Abuse Regulation.

The Company announces that Steve Hare, who is a Director of the Company, has exercised options over 9,463 Ordinary shares of 14/77 pence each in the Company at an exercise price of 317 pence per share under the terms of The Sage Group Savings-Related Share Option Plan on 13 August 2019. The options were originally granted on 12 June 2014 and matured on 1 August 2019. The resultant total shareholding of Steve Hare is 331,206 Ordinary shares of 14/77 pence each in the Company.
