EMPLOYEE SHARE PURCHASE PLAN

AND

DIRECTOR / PDMR PURCHASES

Calgary, Alberta - April 19, 2018 - Touchstone Exploration Inc. ("Touchstone" or the "Company") (TSX / LSE: TXP) announces the reinstatement of its Employee Share Purchase Plan (the "Plan"). The Plan is designed to encourage employees to invest in common shares of the Company through employee savings and to allow the Company to provide common shares as an incentive to employees through the Company's contribution. 

All employees are eligible to participate in the Plan and can contribute 3 to 5% of their earnings. Touchstone will match the employee's contribution in the range of 100% to 200% based on their historical participation in the Plan.

The first purchase of the reinstated Plan was April 16, 2018 and common shares were placed into employee's accounts on April 18, 2018. The common shares were purchased at a price of $0.25. 

Director/ PDMR dealing

Mr. Paul R. Baay, President and Chief Executive Officer, purchased 2,750 common shares. In accordance with the Plan the Company purchased a further 5,500 common shares resulting in a total purchase of 8,250 common shares.

Mr. James Shipka, Chief Operating Officer, purchased 1,833 common shares. In accordance with the Plan the Company purchased a further 3,667 common shares resulting in a total purchase of 5,000 common shares
