Major technology upgrade award for £0.4m on-board systems

21st Century Technology plc (AIM: C21), the specialist provider of tailored solutions to the transport community, solving complex operational requirements both on and off vehicle, is pleased to announce a contract award worth approx. £0.4m for the provision of high definition on-board visual systems technology from a large public transport operator as part of a major upgrade to their bus fleet. In addition, it is anticipated that associated engineering and technical services will increase the total value of this work to £0.6m which is scheduled to complete during 2018.

21st Century has been providing technical support and engineering services to this operator since 2015 and under this contract will provide the latest open-platform, standards-based, on-board IT equipment along with high-performance camera systems to deliver a seamless integration and upgrade path whilst meeting the challenging requirements of public transport operation.
